Methods of Transporting Your Belongings to Our Warehouse

» Door Pickup - We can arrange to personally pick up your belongings from your residence at a reasonable rate.
» Drop-Off - You can always deliver your belongings yourself.
» Mailing - You can send your belongings to us by United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS).
» Trucking - We can assist in locating the most economical common carrier to have your belongings transported to us.
» Door Delivery - We can arrange to have your belongings delivered to your residence in the destination country.

Preparation of Freight at Our Warehouse

Your cartons and other belongings are carefully wrapped, packed, and arranged by size, weight, and shape in order to minimize the total cubic footage and reduce your total cost. The items will then be crated into solid wooden crates, reinforced with steel strapping and marked.

Special delivery items, such as furniture, are professionally wrapped with the necessary packing materials. Only then, are they ready to be packed in our wooden crates.

Every item is inspected, numbered, and listed on your inventory sheets. Each crate is marked and numbered before being tagged for export.

Shipping

When we finish packing, crating, wrapping, marking and numbering, your crates are loaded into a fireproof, waterproof container to be shipped to the destination port overseas. Your shipment is transferred to a pier for export as one unit and then loaded onto a vessel.

Your belongings and valuable items are handled only twice, once when packing and once when unpacking. The least amount of handling reduces the risk of damage to your shipment.

Documentation

We arrange for all of the necessary export documentation. This includes dock receipts, export declarations, bills of lading, and other required papers.

Insurance

The best insurance is quality packing and shipping knowhow. Our experience, packing techniques, and shipping procedures significantly reduce the danger of loss or damage to your shipment.

However, we recommend all shipments be insured. If desired, we arrange the proper insurance coverage to fit your needs. Door-to-door insurance is also available.
